A guide leading an international group who listen on their own phones

A next-generation tour guide system

Guiding meets
technology.

A cleaner, more hygienic way to guide modern groups. Guests hear live audio on their own phones and earphones over local Wi-Fi—no shared receivers, no guest account and no mobile data.

Guiding, reimagined

One guide. Two simple apps. One connected tour.

Listen Your Guide puts live communication in the guide’s hands. The Guide app starts and stops the voice broadcast with one tap; the Listener app connects guests on their own phones and plays every announcement automatically as the tour moves.

Simple for the guide.
Invisible for the guest.

  • One-tap broadcasting

Tap once to speak live. Tap again to stop. The active state is always unmistakable.

  • Automatic listening

Once listening mode is open, every new guide announcement plays without another button press.

  • Designed for screen-off use

Guide broadcasting and guest playback can continue in the background during the tour.

Less equipment. More attention.

Clear communication without the hardware ritual.

Listen Your Guide turns the phones already in your group into a coordinated listening system—while the guide stays in control.

Use the phones they carry

Guests listen with their own Android phones and preferred earphones. There is no separate receiver fleet to distribute and collect.

Local Wi-Fi voice path

Live voice is sent from guide to guests on the tour’s local network instead of being routed through our web servers.

Ready for international groups

Twenty built-in interface languages help guests understand the listener experience without downloading language packs during a tour.

Reconnect without friction

After a successful admission, the same guest can reconnect to the same guide during a 12-hour window without consuming another guide credit.

Local-first by design

Your voice stays with the tour.

Account and credit checks use the Listen Your Guide service, but live voice takes the direct local route between the guide and connected guests. That keeps guest mobile data out of the listening experience.

How it works

From arrival to live audio in three clear steps.

A portable access point can give every tour its own predictable local network.

  1. 01

    Connect the group

Guests join the guide’s Wi-Fi or portable access point. They do not need internet access on that network.

  2. 02

    Open listening mode

The guest app automatically discovers the active guide on the local network and waits for live audio.

  3. 03

    Tap TALK

The guide speaks. Every approved guest hears the announcement automatically—even with the screen locked.

Focus on the story

Technology that steps out of the way.

Guests should be looking at the place—not fighting with controls. Once the connection is approved, listening stays ready and the guide decides when the group hears live voice.

“Open the tour. Put the phone away. Keep listening.”

Clear status screens and automatic playback reduce the instructions a guide needs to repeat before every stop.

Frequently asked

The practical details, made clear.

Still evaluating your tour setup? Send us your group scenario and we’ll help you plan the right local network.

Ask a question
Do guests need mobile internet?

No. Guests connect to the guide’s local Wi-Fi network and receive live audio there. The guide app uses internet access for account and credit checks when admitting new guests.

Do guests need an account or personal details?

No. The listener app does not require registration, email, location or camera access. It uses an anonymous installation identity for reconnection and credit protection.

Do we need dedicated receiver hardware?

No dedicated guest receivers are required. Guests use their own Android phones and earphones. The guide can carry a portable access point to provide the group’s local Wi-Fi network.

Can the screen be turned off during a tour?

Yes. The guide broadcast and guest listening mode are designed to continue as foreground services while the screen is locked or the app is in the background.

What does the 12-hour reconnect window mean?

After a guest’s first successful connection to a guide, that same guest can reconnect to the same guide for 12 hours without using an additional guide credit.

How many guests can join?

Capacity depends on the access point, radio conditions and phone mix. We will publish a verified group-size recommendation after the planned multi-device field tests rather than promise an untested number.

When will the apps be available?

The Android apps are currently being prepared for controlled testing. Native iOS versions are planned after the Android release is validated.
